India Energy Week
India Energy Week (IEW) is an annual energy conference and exhibition held under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The first edition was in 2023. This page records each edition's dates, venue, officially stated scale and documented outcomes.
Scale over time
Participation by edition, as stated by the ministry
The IEW 2026 curtain-raiser gave figures for earlier editions: about 30,000 delegates in 2023, over 45,000 participants in 2024 and 68,000 in 2025. For 2026 it projected more than 75,000 delegates. Figures in secondary media sometimes differ. This page uses the ministry's own numbers.

Editions
Each India Energy Week, in order
- 6–8 Feb 2023
IEW 2023 — Bengaluru
The Prime Minister inaugurated the first edition on 6 February 2023 and, the same day, launched E20 petrol at 84 retail outlets in 11 States and Union Territories. He also flagged off a Green Mobility Rally. PIB called it “the first significant energy event of the G20 calendar”. The 9th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable, held with the International Energy Forum, took place alongside on 7 February. Per the ministry: about 30,000 delegates and 316 exhibitors.
- 6–9 Feb 2024
IEW 2024 — Goa
Inaugurated by the Prime Minister on 6 February 2024. At the closing on 9 February, the minister said the edition had 30% more exhibitors across 18,000 sq m. He announced that IEW 2025 would be held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, and IEW 2026 in Goa. Petronet LNG and QatarEnergy signed a long-term LNG agreement during the event (media-reported).

IEW 2025 — Yashobhoomi, New Delhi
The Prime Minister addressed the inauguration by video message on 11 February. PIB described IEW as “the world's second-largest energy event” and a “self-funded initiative”. On 13 February the minister announced agreements including Indian Oil–ADNOC LNG, BPCL–Petrobras crude, Indian Oil's first LNG export deal (Nepal), and BP as technical services provider for Mumbai High.

IEW 2026 — ONGC Advanced Training Institute, Goa
The curtain-raiser projected more than 75,000 delegates, 600+ exhibitors (180 international), 500+ speakers, 120+ sessions, 17 ministers or deputy ministers, and 11 thematic zones, including new Nuclear Energy and Sustainable Aviation Fuel zones. The minister gave the opening keynote on 27 January alongside Sultan Al Jaber (UAE) and the Chief Minister of Goa. India and Canada renewed their Ministerial Energy Dialogue the same day.
